MCCOG's landscape and design staff is responsible for overseeing the design and graphic work for a number of MCCOG’s projects.

Our design staff strives to blend the built environment with the natural environment and has the experience to prepare site plans, planting plans, and grading plans, as well as photomontage and photo manipulation work.

The MCCOG design staff is also responsible for the preparation of long-range trail plans and design guidelines for downtowns, subdivisions, and rural areas.  Staff are prepared to address the complex interrelated issues that arise in city and suburban environments such as commercial, retail, and residential use, mass transit, automobile and pedestrian circulation, and infrastructure.  We search for innovative solutions that respect zoning laws, development agreements, neighborhood concerns, and a range of social and economic demands.
