Amendment of 2035 Metropolitan Transportation Plan to include the US 36 / SR 9 / SR 38 / SR 67 Added Travel Lanes Project (Pendleton, Indiana)

Notice of Public Meeting: Printed November 23, 2018 in Anderson Herald Bulletin

Date/Time: Monday, December 10, 2018, 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Location: Pendleton Community Public Library, Conference Rm B, 595 East Water Street, Pendleton, IN 46064

Purpose: Receive public comment on the proposed amendment to the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) for the Madison County Council of Governments, the designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the Anderson urbanized area. This amendment to the MTP has been requested by the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) Greenfield District.

Project Description: There is one (1) project proposed for amendment into the MCCOG MTP: US 36 / SR 9 / SR 38 / SR 67 added travel lanes between Huntsville Road / CR 500 S and Madison Avenue / Lick Creek Pike / Angle Road in Pendleton, IN.

Amendment Adoption: Formal adoption of the proposed amendments will be presented at the MCCOG Policy & Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) meeting on December 13, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the board room of the Madison County Council of Governments office located at 739 Main Street, Anderson, IN 46016.

Copies of the items above and all plans and exhibits pertaining thereto are on file and available for examination at 739 Main Street, Anderson, IN 46016 between 8 AM and 4 PM Monday through Friday or on the MCCOG website: www.mccog.net. Written objection to a proposal may be filed to the Administrative Assistant of MCCOG prior to 4 PM, December 10, 2018 or delivered in person at the public meeting to be held at the location and date/time above.
